Complete our online application form, pay the R300 registration fee (FNB, using your ID number as reference), then send us your proof of payment together with 2 I.D photos and a copy of your I.D book or passport via WhatsApp or email. We'll confirm your seat and start date.
No. No former experience is needed — we train complete beginners from scratch with 100% practical and theoretical assessments. All you need is a basic education and the registration requirements.
Yes. We provide free accommodation in our hostels for distant students for the full duration of the training period, so you can focus on learning your machine.
Absolutely. Foreign students from Zambia, Lesotho, Angola, Namibia, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Eswatini are welcome to apply. A valid passport is required for registration.
Course durations range from a few days to a few months depending on the machine. For example, Forklift is about 5 days, most earth-moving and crane courses run 7–10 days, the Plant Operator programme is around 2 months, and Boiler Making / Welding is about 3 months. Yes. Spencer Forklift, TLB Training Academy is accredited by TETA and CETA, and registered in terms of the Skills Development Act, 1998. We also renew expired operator certificates and licences.
